Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Finance Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Cloud R2R (Record to Report) and P2P (Procure to Pay) cycles. This role is responsible for the end-to-end configuration and optimization of the Oracle Financials suite, ensuring smooth financial closes and seamless module integration. You will collaborate closely with business analysts to translate complex requirements into functional specifications, support technical teams on report/integration design, and manage the implementation of new features from Oracle quarterly releases.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Financial Module Mastery & Configuration
- Core Modules: Deep functional knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), Cash Management (CE), Fixed Assets (FA), and AGIS.
- Integration Expertise: Manage end-to-end integrations across all Oracle Finance modules to ensure data integrity and process flow.
- Baseline Governance: Create and maintain configuration baseline documents and ensure all setups align with modern best practices.
- Financial Close Support: Proactively monitor subledger exceptions and resolve application issues that impact the monthly financial close process.
Requirement Analysis & Documentation
- Discovery: Lead the collection of business process requirements and qualify demands raised by end-users.
- Specification Design: Prepare comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSD) for the technical team to guide the design of integrations and reports.
- Testing: Prepare detailed test scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT) and oversee user acceptance.
Operational Excellence & Release Management
- Oracle Support: Manage SRs (Service Requests) and collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve complex application bugs.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess and implement new features delivered as part of the continuous Oracle Cloud release cycle.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts on configuration tasks and escalate any risks impacting delivery timelines.

- Oracle Finance Functional-Cloud: Specialized knowledge in R2R and P2P workflows.
- Full Suite Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and AGIS.
