Role: Senior Business Analyst with Testing Experience

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid) – Locals Only

Duration: 12 Months

 

Need 11+ Years of experience

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

State/Federal Government experience needed

 

Job Responsibilities:                             

·       Ten (10) years or more of Business Analysis experience, assisting with process refinements and improvements is required.

·       Collaborating with technical staff, product owner (PO) and subject matter experts (SMEs) on eliciting, analyzing, and documenting “as is” and “to be” applications functions, and workflows.

·       Identifying and arranging “to be” functional requirements and non-functional requirements to lead the development of precise user stories allowing developers to easily define the technical task/work necessary to meet the requirements.

·       Collaborating with SMEs to define user personas and roles aligned with system features within the implemented applications.

·       Collaborating with developers, database administrators, and SMEs to define the business domain models and data flows and validating resulting technical models.

·       Developing detailed user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and validating them with SMEs and other designated stakeholders.

·       Leading technical and business staff through system, integration, user acceptance (UAT), security, and performance testing activities.

·       Executing test cases and documenting and tracking defects – ex. their technical details, the steps to reproduce – and collaborating with developers to ensure the defects are resolved and re-tested

·       Participating in configuration, migration, troubleshooting, and remediation activities

·       Execute leadership to ensure all necessary information required from subject matter experts is obtained accurately, truthfully, and with quality.

·       Project Management Institute (PMI), Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) Certification or an equivalent certification is a plus.

·       Six-sigma certification(s) is a plus.

·       State or Federal Government experience is a plus.

·       California State Government experience is a plus.
