Job Description:

 

Immediate Opportunity

We are seeking a strong and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex technology programs, drive cross-functional initiatives, and ensure successful delivery across multiple engineering and business teams. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding, proven program leadership experience, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

🔥 Must-Have Skills

✅ 12+ years of overall experience in Technology / IT

✅ 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager / Program Lead

✅ Proven experience managing complex, enterprise-level technology programs

✅ Strong experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, dependencies, risks, and timelines

✅ Strong technical understanding of cloud, applications, APIs, data, and software development lifecycle

✅ Experience working closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Business teams

✅ Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

✅ Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar program/project management tools

✅ Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management experience

✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Ability to work with senior leadership and provide clear program status and reporting

🔧 Preferred Skills

✔️ Prior American Express (AmEx) experience strongly preferred

✔️ Financial Services / Banking experience

✔️ Cloud experience – AWS / Azure / GCP

✔️ Experience with large-scale digital transformation programs

✔️ Experience managing application modernization initiatives

✔️ Experience with Data, AI/ML, APIs, or cloud-native platforms

✔️ PMP / PgMP / SAFe or similar certification

✔️ Experience managing distributed/onshore-offshore teams

💼 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs

✔️ Define program plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria

✔️ Coordinate multiple engineering and business workstreams

✔️ Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans

✔️ Drive program governance, status reporting, and executive communications

✔️ Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Business teams

✔️ Facilitate program reviews, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings

✔️ Track delivery against timelines, budget, scope, and quality objectives

✔️ Identify roadblocks and drive timely resolution

✔️ Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders

✔️ Manage cross-functional dependencies and release readiness

✔️ Provide regular updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders

✔️ Drive continuous improvement in program delivery processes and Agile practices
