Department of Genetics, Immunology, Biochemistry and Nutrition (GIBN),

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Regional Centre, Aundh, Pune.

1.	Certificate Course in Medical Genetics (CCMG) – 8^th batch	6 months	MBBS Only	· Contact sessions on 1^st and 3^rd Saturdays only · Online sessions, research project and problem based learning modules · One month Training in molecular diagnostic laboratory · Faculty includes renowned expert Clinicians and Professionals who are aces in their fields. · Ideal for Professionals.
2.	Certificate Course in Reproductive Genetics (CCRG) – 7^th batch	6 months	· Health Science graduates practicing gynecology and Obstetrics with experience and/or interest in reproductive genetics. · Graduates in nursing with specialty in obstetrics and gynaecology. · Graduates in medical laboratory sciences with experience and/or interest in reproductive genetics
3.	Certificate Course in Human Genetics (CCHG) – 1^st batch	6 months	· Bachelor Degree from homeopathy, ayurvedic, unani. · Bachelor degree in Nursing, Physiotherapy · Bachelor degree in Life Sciences.
4.	Training programme in Molecular Diagnostic Techniques	3 months	• Post-graduate graduate students from Health Sciences faculties. • Post-Graduate students from Life Sciences.	· 3 months training programme (5 days a week, 5 hours daily) · Each student will complete the laboratory experiments related to their post-graduate research project in the well equipped research laboratory of the department
5.	Hands-on training in Molecular Techniques in Practice	3 days	Graduates in Health Sciences or Life Sciences	· DNA isolations from blood samples · Setting up Polymerase Chain Reactions · Setting up restriction digestion experiments · Casting and loading of gels · Gel electrophoreses, documentation, interpretation and analysis of data · Case discussions for genetic counseling.
6.	Lecture series in Genetics for Nurses	3 days	2nd year Nursing students	· Genetics syllabus of 2^nd year B.Sc. nursing covered · Visit to molecular diagnostic laboratory of dept
