Hey everyone,
First off, I'd like to apologise for being incredibly negligent on this project for the past few months. I did not expect my university program to be so demanding.
However, I'm still keen on this project. I've recently gone through some old emails and the like, and I've thrown some information into the wiki. I won't be able to make the code sprint in the beginning of February - I have exams the week afterwards, and can't afford the absence - but I will have several weeks free in late March and early April, and I might be able to come over to Munich and do something then.
http://wiki.okfn.org/Wg/linguistics/workflowsFor now, put any thoughts you have on the wiki, and I'll add installing django to my list of things to do with some sense of urgency. We still haven't heard back about the paper sent in to LREC. By the time it comes along, I'd like to be able to say that I'm at least working on it.
I've also attached a paper I presented recently at the International Data Curation Conference. It is based on the work I did this summer, which originally got me into workflows and Open Science, and I think some of it is relevant to what we want to do with reproducible linguistics work.
Best,
Richard
