Since I was away the day they did electricity in school, what sort of wire should I be using to hook up my hot end's heating element?

Hey guyren! Well if your're asking what size wire wire you should be using you can do a simple calculation based on the resistance of your heating element.

I (Current) = Voltage / Resistance

You can look up the appropriately sized wire, sized by the gauge. I use 20 gauge stranded wire and it works just fine. The wires stay relatively cool even on long prints (several hours).

Hopefully that helps.
