So I've been doing some reading about 3D printing, and it sounds awesome.  I want to start looking into purchasing/building a kit of some kind, if you could call it that I guess.

Are any of you guys local to LAX that might be able to offer some assistance or advice on what to pick up?

Have you checked out the Deezmaker shop in Pasadena? It's one of about five 3d printer storefronts in the world.

I had no idea they were there, but I have now looked them up!  It seems they're only selling Bukobots online, do they carry more than just those?

We (I work there) make and sell the Bukobot here (I'm at the shop now). We've been in talks with other companies to sell their printers, but haven't made any deals yet.
