We're meeting up this Sunday. Join us. We have all the parts to
build another Mendel and you are all welcome to bring your own
reprap / 3d printer parts as well to put together.

Going to try to make it - not sure what parts I'll be able to come up with before Sunday though - don't suppose you sell the electronics or do you only have the fabricated parts? (don't get me wrong those are invaluable! :)  I've tried ordering the electronics online but everytime I go on to buy them, it seems that the key parts are out of stock :(

There is someone selling re-done motherboards and extruder controllers (as well as complete kits) for $10 less than what was previously available.  I will send a link,  I'm also up for fabricating these at the lab and making them more available to people.

Thanks for the link - it looks like a nice looking kit :)  It doesn't look like they'd be shipped in time for Sunday but if I were to get the kit I guess it should definitely be here for next time :)  Maybe construct other parts while I wait - I'm guessing that bolting down the electronics would be towards the end of the build anyways looking at the pictures. :)
