They're using SLM (Selective Laser Melting) to 3D print rocket engine parts in metal.

Advantages, vs traditional fab tech:
- It makes parts that would be very difficult to fab otherwise
- Eliminating the welding makes the parts much stronger AND more reliable
- In the end, it should save them many millions in project fab costs.
