Hi all, I just wanted to say hello.

I'm David (aka Buzz), I live in Brisbane ( Fairfield actually) and
I've got a cleanly functioning X& Y gantry being run by EMC, and I
have an arduino ( from little bird ) so I can run ( at the very
least) my (non-existant) extruder, etc.

So, I guess you could say I've got a 2/3 build EmcRepStrap.

And advice/assistance/parts to help in getting my extruder off the
ground would be greatly appreciated. !

Ok, and I'me keen to meetup with any others in Brissy that would like
to have a get together.

I've actually got my repstrap to a point now where it prints objects.
It still needs some TLC to tweak it to make object/s reliably, but
the project is actually on-hold at the moment as I'm rebuilding a
gyrocopter.

I'd encourage you to join the Hackerspace Brisbane Group (
http://groups.google.com/group/hackerspace_brisbane ) as we are a
brisbane electronics/programming/whatever white-hat hacker group.

I had/have some parts from various printers (rails, motors and toothed belts) if that is of any use...
