I live in Brisbane and I learnt yesterday about the reprap machine
from the new scientist website. I am real keen to get into this and

I was also at The Edge today at State Library - they are keen to learn more about reprap there. They actually have an area in the basement set aside for this sort of hacking and they actually mentioned 3d printers.

Yep, Arjen insisted I bring it tomorrow (although getting the reprap
into the car this evening was a chore!)

Also, you might be seeing two - Buzz (ex-prez of hackerspace brisbane)
was trying to get our Mendel completed today in time for Barcamp, so
who knows? :)
