Hi all,

I'm not sure if anyone looks at this group, but I really need help putting together a delta 3D printer. It's probably 95% of the way there but I'm having trouble getting autocalibrate to succeed. It'd done it before but then I had to take apart bits and pieces to fix the extruder, and I can't get it working well again. It's a Cherry Pi III and is pretty awesome! I'm over in the Redlands but would be willing to transport somewhere if someone is willing to give me a bit of their time to look over it, point out where issues may be, or hopefully running through some of the common bits of knowledge I might be missing.

Hi Andrew

Ya the group is alive - just fairly quiet. That's ok.

Hmm, haven't worked on a Delta before.

Have you checked in with the Brisbane HackerSpace (HS-BNE) ?

Regards,
Arjen.

One of the guys and HSBNE has built quite a few deltas

His name is Nog3 on IRC - Brendan in real life.  He also works at The Edge at the state library as their 3D printer man.

Go in on a teusday night to the hackerspace just to look around (you might like it).  They are freindly bunch and will probably lend a hand.

Thanks all. I was going to go tonight but I got wet, and my printer was destroyed in my car. Ends up thermoplastic doesn't like closed cars out in the sun. Who would have thought?
