There are 5 or 6 or 8  "mendelmax" repraps currently being built by members of HSBNE.   :-)      There were three of them at the hackerspace on Tuesday evening, two of which were printing, really nice.  :-)

Thx, if anyone can help with installing hot end and thermistor to j head hotend (trinity labs mendelmax pro). I'm a mechanical engineer but not very good with elecy stuff, scoured the web but not much info on these two hookups, I know where they go in the j head not how they are fastened/wired?
Thx

Hi hot ends are not really hard. Here's a link hot end assembly. Basically use Kapton Tape , which is heat resistant ,to hold them in place and some thermal paste around the thermistor and resistor to help heat conduction. The four wires go directly to the microprocessor board.

Hope that helps.
