Service

I just installed this and had a configuration exception causing the
apache service not to start. I changed some items and then went to
start the service, expecting to see Apache2.2 in the services mmc
plugin, but I can't find it. Is the service under a different name?
Is it installed as a service at all?

Hi,

Do you remember what the configuration exception said? You can run
Check Apache Config from the start menu group Repos Server. If nothing
starts, it might be because you're missing the Microsoft C++ runtime.
There's a download link at http://reposserver.com/#p-download. You
might need to reinstall after you have the runtime installed.

I don't like the dependency to that microsoft package. We'll try to
get rid of it for the next release.

When the installer works, Apache is installed as a service.
