This is not a Reposado issue, rather an Apple issue.
As far for iLife 11 apps, if you installed them via the DVD, you -should- get updates via the regular SoftwareUpdate that you used to. If they got installed via the AppStore, you will get updates via the AppStore.
However... if you are watching the macenterpise list, there is a thread that I opened, where I have installed the DVD version of iLife, and did not get updates via Software Update.
Gray area there, still.
