Can we test for pdf generation using reportlab?

Hi, 

So, I have recently learned writing tests like 2 months ago. 

And this is really powerful. I am no longer scared of the changes in my code. Earlier before pushing to production I used to always cross my fingers. 

For these GUI kind of things, do we write tests? If yes, could anyone please share any resource that I can read to understand and then write tests for my pdf generation.
