Deleting cache during update

Hi all,

When updating to a new minor version (e.g. 3.6.x -> 3.7.y) trough the command:

  java -jar gerrit.war init -d site_path

It asks if you want to delete the cache, it's recommended for an upgrade or it is only useful for other purpose?

Typically you want to keep cache contents of persistent caches otherwise the server will be slower until

caches have warmed up again.
