Election of non-Google ESC and CM members for 2026-2027

Hey everyone,

June is when we start these elections and it's June!

Now is the time for non-Google maintainers to volunteer for the Engineering Steering Committee (ESC) and for any active community members to volunteer for the Community Managers (CM).

If you would like to be a candidate for either committee (you can't do both - see the note in the CMs link above), please send your name to the CM mailing list [1] (CC'ed).

Candidate nominations are confidential until voting so please don't reply to this thread.
Candidate nomination submissions are expected between now and until June 12th.
After June 12th, we CMs will share the list of candidates with the maintainers so voting can start. Voting should then conclude by June 26th.

One usually nominates oneself, but if you'd like to nominate somebody else, please make sure that candidates are willing to be nominated; you should also add that person as CC in your mail.
