Failed to submit a mergit commit gerrit due to dependency issue

Hi

I am trying to merge a "merge commit" gerrit by clicking on "submit" button but running into below error,I see that all the dependency changes are merged,how do I figured out what is wrong here?any guidance is appreciated?

Failed to submit 1 change due to the following problems:
Change XXXXX: depends on change that was not submitted

look at the list of "Related Changes" of the merge commit to find the change which blocks submitting the merge commit,

@Matthias - Yes,I am trying to submit a " MERGE COMMIT change" on branch "branch2"

the related changes show a change on branch "branch1" ,I merge the change on branch "branch1" it goes into " Not Current" state (which is weird) and the
" MERGE COMMIT change" on branch "branch2" has still the same error, why is the "branch1" it goes into " Not Current" state and why is the " MERGE COMMIT change" on branch "branch2"

stuck with the same error?
