Why searching the topic(and hashtag) doesn't give the prompt?

   When I search the topic(or intopic, hashtag) in the search box, it will not

auto prompt the existing topics(or hashtag), but When I search other items like

owner, project and author, they will prompt the existing items. 

    I don't know this is my server problem, or the gerrit server doesn't support

this feature?

    My gerrit server is 3.3.0. I am the administrator.

Hi Yingchun,

You are right, gerrit supports only auto-prompting for a few items [1]. I recently added a first attempt of autocompletion for adding topic [2] . It should be part of 3.4. With a new inhashtag implemented in BE, I will be able to implement autocomplete for adding hashtag in change metadata. Same autocompletion could be added to searchbar, so feel free to report feature requests [3]. Thanks for bringing this up.

      Thanks for your hard work, I  will try the newest version,  if there is

any issues, will let you know.

       Another issue with topic is not related with auto completion, but is  cherry-pick

the whole topic commits,  and it cannot be pick to another branch of same project, 

and says "Two changes cannot be of the same project".  The case is I did a series of

commits to implement a feature(or fix a complicated), and grouped with topic, and want

to pick to another branch.

     If this is a valid request, I will put it to the [1]

I am not very familiar with cherry-picking topics, but I think it is valid request and I hope somebody more familiar with topic will reply to your request on issue tracker.
