HTTP requests cause LDAP socket to leak

Hey

I am running a 3.4.1 gerrit instance with LDAP authentication. I recently discovered that sending authenticated http requests to gerrit's REST API creates garbage sockets connected to the LDAP server. These sockets accumlate and finally take up all of the available  file descriptors and forcing me to restart the server.

Regular authentication (such as logging in), doesn't seems to be problematic.
