Atomic push and gerrit

Hello Gerrit community,

I have gerrit 3.2.6 and I tried "git push --atomic". It resulted in "fatal: the receiving end does not support --atomic push". Just want to check with the community, about the plans to support atomic push.

Greetings Jigar,

While I can't speak for the core Gerrit devs, I personally find that
option hard to understand in context of how Gerrit is designed to
operate. I can't think of any time where you would be updating multiple
refs at the same time given the GerritFlow paradigm of patches. It's not
possible to create a change that would affect more than one branch at a
time. Though a given change might be cherry-picked into another branch
at after it's been merged into the branch targeted for review.
