Gerrit checks plugin return 500 interal server error after update Gerrit to 3.9.6

Hi all

Recently, we upgrade Gerrit to3.9.6,  checks plugin return 500 when Jenkins pipeline feed build/test results back  to gerrit for display

Is there something wrong?

Possibly the checks plugin is not compatible with Gerrit 3.9, e.g. it doesn't have a stable-3.9 branch here:

I saw that checks plugin will be deprecated  so I have two questions need your help

1.If we use New checks UI,   Is there any good way for Jenkins to return the results to Gerrit for display？
2.Although checks plugin is marked as deprecated ,but there was still code submission three months ago.
Will you continue to maintain the compatibility of this plugin with the new Gerrit?

The Gerrit team at Google has decided to discontinue work on the checks plugin. The recommended solution is [https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/Documentation/pg-plugin-checks-api.html](Checks UI) which surfaces results from an external CI/analysis system.

I assume this is possible, but not sure if anyone has already written the required integration code. Maybe somebody else can answer this?

Sorry, Google will not maintain this plugin, but it's open source so anyone from the community can do that if they want.

 

DEPRECATION NOTICE

The Gerrit team at Google has decided to discontinue work on the checks plugin. The recommended solution is [https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/Documentation/pg-plugin-checks-api.html](Checks UI) which surfaces results from an external CI/analysis system.
