Secondly when i do a "repo sync" in a previously checked out directory
I am getting the
following error :-

fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

I have tried adding the android repository IP in /etc/hosts but no
success.

can anyone help me with this ?

Thanks & Regards
Nimit

From yesterday, I meet the same as your problem. I try to modify the ~/
bin/repo and .repo/manifest/default.xml files and change the 'git://
android.git.kernel.org' to 'git://android3.git.kernel.org', then the
sync is ok. Could you try it?

Best Regards
Jason

Hi Jason,

Still no luck :(

Seems many people are getting the similar prblm today.

It seems that there is some server prblm in google sie.

If you get anythng plz update me.

Thanks & Regards

Its the kernel.org server farm, not Google's servers.

I've sent an email to kernel.org's administrators inquiring about the problems with android1.
