Hi all,
we started working on the GitBlit plug-in, hopefully there will be an initial push for review by COW.

In the meantime we contributed another plug-in that renders Git branches network into a HTML5 canvas.
(see screenshot)

Anybody interested ?
Does it make sense as standalone plugin ? Or should we consolidate this with the GitBlit work ?

Opinions and proposals are very welcome :-)

Luca.

This is very, very cool. I noticed the Graph tab on the left, which is currently not doable with a plugin because they can't make UI contributions. But aside from that, I think a lot of people would really appreciate having this sort of view of their repository.

Upstream GitBlit might also be interested in this. But I would be happy to have it as a plugin to Gerrit if GitBlit doesn't want it.

Have I said how completely awesome you are, Luca? I would totally
use this and I know my users would like it too.

This looks very useful. And it would be even better if it can show changes currently up for review on gerrit. This will make it easier to see how pending changes are related to each other and make it easier to start at the change that doesn't depend on other changes.

Yes, that was my thought. If we could integrate a vertical
version on the left when showing a change list, that would
be very useful (a few of us suggested such a widget at the
May hackathon),

Hi Martin,

would you mind sketching something based on the screenshot ?
(so I can have more visually clear in my mind)

@All: thanks for the enthusiasm and support :-) ... plug-in for Gerrit 2.5 is coming then, suggestions on the plugin-name ?

Luca.
