I work on a team that parses gerrit ssh logs to audit repo access.  We got a log entry today that looks like this...

[2015-03-21 00:00:08,301 -0500] - - - Discarded 1 messages due to full event buffer including: git-upload-pack./repo.git

Where could I configure the event buffer size or any other settings to help ensure we don't discard any messages in the future?

Can I just put a log4j.properties file in the gerrit/etc folder with relevant setting(s)? If so anyone know what the relevant setting(s) would be?

We just had this happen again
