API update to YOUR menus?

I wrote to tool that creates a dashboard URL from an input format that is much easier than what is available in Gerrit.

It would be really nice if the script could also update the YOUR menu with item, for easy access.

Any way to do this now?  I looked and didn't see anything.

Any ideas if this is on the roadmap?

You can install the menuextender plugin and configure additional menu entries in its config file.

I think you should be able to fetch your user ref (refs/users/self I believe) from the All-Users project and edit the menu entries there and the push back to Gerrit,
