Git Push error - Authentication Failed

Hello Everybody,

 

I have installed latest version of Gerrit 2.5.1 and configured it using H2 db and LDAP authentication. I am able to sucesfully authenticate gerrit site using my domain credentails and able to add Groups and Members.

But When I am trying to clone repo All-projects.git , make some changes,commit and trying to Push it the origin repo, I am getting below error.

 

fatal: Authentication failed

 

Can you someone please help me out on how to resolve this issues.

did you use the HTTP credentials defined here ?

https://your.gerrit.host/#/settings/http-password 

Gerrit uses different credentials for the Web UI and for git commands over http

Yes, I have generated http Password and try to clone and Push. In both the cases I am getting AUthentication failed message.

You probably need this in your gerrit.config so your LDAP credentials are used:

auth.gitBasicAuth = true
