Please help if anybody know how to delete ReviewDB.lock.db file. I am
trying to clean up Gerrit2 folder and re install again. There is a
lock on this file and i can't remove it with root account. Some
process is writing this file back after deletion. Please help.

A gerrit server is still running?

No it is not running. This folder contains only /home/gerrit2/review_site/db folder and here is content of the file.

Is there anyway we can find out the process that is writing this file back after deleting and we can stop process to write it. I tried lsof and it gives following results.

lsof: WARNING: can't stat() fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon file system /home/pal/.gvfs
Output information may be incomplete.

The only thing that would write to that lock file would be an H2
database instance... and most probably an embedded H2 instance inside
of the GerritCodeReview (or some other Java) process on that system.
