When trying to add access rights to LDAP groups, I keep getting an error like "Groups is not available or visible to you"
I am the admin for my Gerrit server, and LDAP/groups works when logging in, but I just can't directly assign access to LDAP groups.
And no LDAP groups are showing up when I type it in either.

Could be ldap.groupBase or ldap.groupPattern settings in gerrit.config.

Has it worked before?

It works in terms of, only users from those LDAP groups are able to log on.

If you are an admin, you should be allowed to set access to an ldap group you are not member of.

If you are an admin you should not need that but you might want to set this configuration[1] to true.

Yes I am admin, and configuration for groupsVisibleToAll was already set to true.

When i try to add ACL, typing ldap/group_name...
No drop down appears, even when I type the full name of ldap group
