Trigger Hydra CI when change open

Hello team,

What is the best way to trigger a hydra build job when a change is open in gerrit ?

We have two build servers. One is Jenkins and the other is Hydra CI. Gerrit Integration with jenkins works like charm with gerrit trigger plugin. However in Hydra CI I have not come across a standard way of implementing the case.

My plan is to trigger another jenkins job and make that job to trigger Hydra. Is that a good approach ? Please advice.
