Meeting minutes of today's community managers meeting is now live at [1].
These meetings happen roughly every 2 weeks, and we're trying to keep the community a bit more updated on the outcome of them.
Today's headlines where:
- GerritMeets Munich: Successful Turnout and great to be back at Google
A major highlight was the return of official presentations from Google, marking the first time in a few years they have actively participated. This presence was highly welcomed and signals a strong internal interest in the Gerrit project’s ongoing development, as also demonstrated by the growing number of commits in Gerrit 3.13.
Special shoutout to Milutin for joining me on stage at the very last minute to present the latest AI features he added in Gerrit, super interesting presentation,
I'm looking forward to sharing the recording.
It was also very exciting for me, Matthias, and Luca to connect with Ivo, the new manager of the Gerrit team at Google. We had a positive introductory meeting, and the community looks forward to a fruitful collaboration as the project progresses.
- Technical Insight: The MCP Server
At the meetup, Google, in the person of Danny Rosen finally announced that they're open sourcing their Gerrit MCP server, we'll share more news once the recording is live, but the live demo was very impressive.

- Website Redesign
Hopefully we're in the final stages of the review process here. I finally addressed Nasser's comments and hopefully we can unblock the situation soon.
