Consulting Companies for Gerrit

Hello All,

I am looking for recommendations on consultants that could come in and help out or Gerrit installation.  We currently have a HA 3 Node cluster with many replicant nodes.

We are interested in talking with companies that can come onsite and do the following:

1. Bring all nodes up to the latest version of Gerrit. currently 11 versions behind

2. Make the nodes stable and performant

3. Move the nodes from on perm servers to Google Cloud.

There are a lot of videos and tutorials on how to upgrade in many sauces and dressings :-)

I’ve created a YouTube playlist dedicated to Gerrit migrations at [1].

2. Make the nodes stable and performant

Well, there are plenty of performance improvements that have been implemented over the years.

The latest ones on JGit are going to be included in Gerrit v3.11.

Ponch made a recent presentation in San Diego, CA, at the GerritMeets, highlighting them, see [2].

The title of the presentation was “How to make JGit and Gerrit 100x faster”.

3. Move the nodes from on perm servers to Google Cloud.

SAP and GerritForge have a lot of experience and presented all the innovations on the k8s-gerrit project, which can be hosted on Google Cloud on Kubernetes.
