Submitted, Merge Pending

Hi, I recently updated gerrit (to 2.8 snapshot since I was trying to get gitblit working also) but now its not allowing me to submit patches. I get: Status: Submitted, Merge Pending I have seen old issues raised on this before but none seem to fit my scenario. It is happening on all commits and all repos. I was running gerrit as another user by accident but since then have relaunched using the correct user. I also changed owner under linux of all repos dirs to make sure that was not the issue. Please help me!

There was very recently a bug that caused all merges to fail, it is fixed by [1]. Make sure, you have this commit included.
