Hi all,

repo v2.55 has been released: https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git-repo/+/refs/tags/v2.55 . I plan to promote it to stable next week.

repo v2.55 was released with a syntax error affecting users on versions older than py3.8 due to the use of the walrus operator: bug report. I just released repo v2.55.1 which resolves this issue, and I plan to promote it to stable tomorrow if there are no bug reports.

In repo version v2.59, I guess this bug was from "1acbc14 (Mike Frysinger) manifest: generalize --json as --format=<format>"

"repo manifest -r --json" does not generate <path>.

revision,groups,remote,upstream,"dest-branch",name is okay. only "path" is not generated.

The manifest error came from : repo init -u https://android.googlesource.com/platform/manifest -b android-13.0.0_r32 -m default.xml

please check.
