Can and/or how do we take payments over the phone?

You can take registrations and/or credit card payments over the phone.  

  1. Get the information to fill out any necessary forms over the phone.  In the event the form needs to be signed, please write "Phone authorization" and put your initials.
  2. Log in to Virtual Terminal
  3. Click on Transactions and credit cards.
  4. Enter the name, address and other required information.  If you enter the customer's email address, it will email them a receipt.  They will not get any other email from us so they don't have to worry about being put on a list.
  5. Enter the credit card information and the amount to be charged.  Process the payment.
  6. Offer to print out a receipt and drop it in the mail to them.  You can print the credit card receipt and/or the RecTrac receipt.  
  7. If you are unsure how to enter something into RecTrac, process the payment and enter it as a credit in their account.  Then leave a note for a manager to enter the charges later.
