Hey there. I have a quick question. Last time we discussed that Catalina version of Repetitions app was broken. I have been getting by using the windows version so far at work. Tomorrow MacOS Big Sur is being released. Do you guys know if Repetitions mac application works on it? Have you tried to run it on Big Sur beta versions?

Upgrading OS right away is a big risk however Im willing to do it because I really need Repetitions until mid December. If it doesnt work on Big Sur though, I would prefer not to upgrade for now. So please let me know as soon as you get a chance.

Nope, haven't tried on Big Sur, but I'm going to assume the problem still exists.

At this point, I don't think it's worth going back and investigating the old code base as it just takes away from the little time I have to spend working on 2.0.

I agree its not worth investing in the old one.

Are we any close to the new version?

Apologies for the slow response -- forgot to check this thread.

We are always a step closer to the new version each day, but I won't rush to push anything out there until I'm certain of the quality and stability of the app across all platforms.

Hello, team. I am starting to prepare for yet another board exam and was wondering if you guys still work on this app or not.

If you have abandoned this project, could you please kindly advise an alternative app with similar functionality

Hi,

Yes, the project is still active and the upcoming version will definitely happen. I'm going to refrain from making any comments on the release date as I don't want to make any promises I can't keep.

As for alternatives, I am sure by now there are many apps out there, but to be honest, I haven't really looked into any of them. The ones that come to mind are Mnemosyne and Anki, which are both very popular and worth checking out.

Best regards.
