RepeaterPhone Crashing On PTT: iOS 26.3 Dev Beta 2 (23D5103d

Hi.

 

Bug:

I do not hear audio from a known busy node upon connecting, and pressing PTT causes Repeaterphone to crash.

 

I don’t know where to look to determine which version of Repeaterphone I am using, so we will say The Latest. 😊

 

iOS 26.3, developer beta 2 (23D5103d)

I've had several people report this with iOS 26.3 beta. I am currently considering this a regression in the iOS beta, not necessarily a bug in RepeaterPhone. The issue with the PTT appears to happen when the app starts capturing audio and the OS forces the app to the background. I'm really not certain how to resolve this, at the moment, because I believe I am adhering to Apple's guidance on how to receive audio. If they have changed something in that space, I haven't seen any release notes about it.

I have the same issue. Rebooted phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. No change. Hopefully, a fix is coming soon.

I would be curious if any other VoIP apps are having similar issues in the beta.

My iPhone is still iOS 26.1 – RepeaterPhone seems to work ok.
