camera button on iPhone 16 as PTT?

Greetings:
I just got my iPhone 16 Pro, which has the new camera button. I have no
idea if it's possible to do this, given there is support for Bluetooth
camera buttons, but it'd be really cool if the camera button could be
used as PTT for Repeaterphone while it's active.
I know nothing at all about the API access for this button, what it can
and can't do with third party apps.

And here's a gentle reminder that a slight presence boost in the transmit audio would be nice to have in the app. 😊
