Feature Request: iPhone 15 Action Button as PTT

Wes, would it be possible to use the iPhone 15’s “action button” as PTT, either pressing it briefly to toggle PTT, or holding down to keep PTT engaged?

 

Or for that matter, would it be possible to do that with the side button on any iPhone?

I will investigate the "action button" more; so far, the developer documentation is effectively non-existent. Everything I've found so far is referencing the Apple Watch action button for controlling things like workouts.

As for the other side buttons, the problem is that they are already used by necessary functions; if I repurposed the volume buttons, how would you adjust the volume? Or for the power button, how would you lock your screen?
