Clothing Repairathons on June 30 and July 4

Hi mending friends,

We’re excited to host two - count em, TWO clothing repairathons in the next couple weeks. We’re also in search of volunteers who can lend their skills and talent at both events.

This Saturday, June 30, we’ll be back at Withrow Park Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Then on July 4, we’ll spend the evening at Taste of Regent Park from 5 till 8 p.m.

- Never volunteered with us before? No problem. You are welcome to come for an hour or the whole event - any time you can give is valuable.

- What about needles and thread? We provide all materials - so we’ve got the buttons, thread, sewing machines and a whole suitcase full of supplies.

- Not sure if your skills are up to snuff? Come learn from others and only tackle what you feel comfortable mending. All skill levels are welcome.
