Time to look forward - MegaCon 2010

This forum has been collecting dust for too long; we need to clear out
the cobwebs and clean the place up! We gave ourselves a break at
Metrocon 2009 and attended out-of-cosplay which turned out to be a
good idea. But as we approach the next convention, which is MegaCon
2010 (Orlando, FL March 12-14, 2010 http://www.megaconvention.com/view/event/2010/),
we look forward to one of our other Senior Members, Alice, taking the
reigns and directing us in a 2 day setup with Vocaloid as our theme.
Some characters have already been set: Alice-Hatsune Miku, JojiP-
Kaito, Lil' Lady-Kagamine Rin, Black Star-Kagamine Len, Haku Yowane-
Jen and Dell Honne-Talley.
We're hoping to find some people willing to join in by MegaCon time
and possibly fill in some of the character gaps (Meiko, Luka Megurine,
Teto Kasane and Neru Akita are on the wish list). I'll let Alice fill
in the gaps as far as her ideas for the convention and the Vocaloid
cosplays - pictures will follow soon!

Update to the site and to the Vocaloid project; I've uploaded pictures
and names of character slots that we would love to have in our group
come MegaCon 2010 - if anyone sees a character that grabs their fancy,
please consider joining in with us. And while I seriously dislike
sites like Facebook or MySpace, several people have stated that a
Facebook page (obviously directing people back here) would give us
more visibility; anyone have thoughts on this?

Taking the reigns from Joel, I'll be handling the MegaCon event. This
post will be a little short for now, as I don't have too much to say
(not much left to cover other than introduce my personality and fill
in gaps) I look forward to everyone attending and having a great time
at it, as well.
There's not much to update at the moment, I'll be collecting and
uploading the "Magnet PV" alternate costumes that I had in mind for
the Con soon and helping to put together designs for those whom
haven't been previously done. As it stands our members are still at
the same point (I think? Joel can clear me up on this), and we're
hoping that the recently interested parties we have will be able to
join us even if for just support!
Keep in mind the key part is to have as much fun as we can though, so
no stressing on it just yet, we have a bunch of time still, too!
As covering the Facebook page, Joel has more on that as the
maintainer. Hopefully we can have it up with no issue.
