We are, of course, super excited to be able to bring you Skottie\u2019s first cover ever for a Spider-Punk title ourselves. We knew we wanted to do a second cover option but it had to be\u2026something different and special. There were several options we played around with and I thought we\u2019d figured it out. Then I went to lunch. When I came back Skottie had gone a completely different direction and he was really feeling whatever it was he was about to reveal to me. Behold our PINK PUNK variant!
You all know how exciting it\u2019s been around here the last year between the number of exclusives we\u2019ve been doing and the new product launches. I really needed to cover my spider veins on my ankles and legs since that is where they are the worst. I dabbed a little bit onto the problem areas and then just blended it in with my little beauty sponge. I really love my beauty sponge, it was only $0.99 on Amazon!
Always start with a small application and add as you need it. This helps you blend it out better so that it looks natural and not like you are wearing makeup. You can see in the pictures below the before and after of my ankles, I think they look amazing!
I also saw that this can be used to cover up tattoos and scars! I have a small scar on my left leg that has a red color as well as some spider veins on my other ankle so I used it to cover them both. It worked great!
I love that this is so easy to put on and you can just wash it off when you shower. I have tried other methods to cover my spider veins, like using self tanner, but that just takes so much longer to do since I have to cover my whole leg and not just the parts I want to camouflage.
For the best results, you are supposed to use a finishing powder over the makeup to really make it stay in place. Dermablend has a finishing powder that you can use but it is a bit more then I want to spend.

No, it does not. I live in the heat of Texas, and no matter how many carefully applied layers of Dermablend you used, carefully set with powder, in an hour or so you can definitely see where the Dermablend ends and bare skin begins, and as time goes on, the veins (and tattoos) clearly show through the makeup.
