Hi,

I created a player to play RTMP streaming, but there is a strange result.
The videos seem to be ending 3-5 seconds too early.

Has anyone seen this before.

Thanks.

When you say it's ending too early, is it firing the complete event too early or is the video stopping playback too early?

It is stopping playback too early.

I haven't run into that before. The first thing that comes to mind is that something with the stream may be malformed. If you haven't already, try playing the stream back with a stock player such as the FLVPlayback in Flash or set up a simple NetConnection/NetStream player to test it and see if those play it back without the same problem. If they show the same behavior, then I'd say some metadata in the video is malformed. If the video plays back normally, then I'd have to start guessing. :)

What file type is the video?

Hi,
Sorry, forgot to say that this player is running on Smart TV.

I use NetConnection and NetStream to play videos.

metadata duration = 62

In netStatusHandler(e:netStatusHandler):

e.info.code
    NetStream.Play.Stop       at 46 second
    NetStream.Buffer.Flush    at 46 second
    NetStream.Buffer.Empty   at 59 second
    NetStream.Buffer.Empty   at 59 second
    NetStream.Buffer.Empty   at 59 second
    ........

There is no problem in other device (iOS, PC...)....

Thanks.
Dennis
