LIGHTTPD and reops

Hello,
is it possible to use LIGHTTPD with the streaming Modul and reops ?

Which Streaming server would you suggest ?

How about source file protection, so that the client can't just
download the source file?

When Pseudostreaming Audio to Flex, you always have to face the Memory
Leak,
is that also present in reops ?

Any help is much appreciated.

There are modules for streaming FLVs with LIGHTTPD and few examples
are out there: http://blog.lighttpd.net/articles/2006/03/09/flv-streaming-with-lighttpd

We use Flash Media Server for most of our dev and that is what we
encounter with most of our clients, but there are plenty of other
solutions out there, I personally have only really worked with FMS &
Red5.

I'm not familiar wtiht eh Memory Leak and Streaming Audio in Flex, do
you have some more info on it that you could send our way? REOPS is
ActionScript 3 no Flex framework, so if the problem exists in the Flex
frame work it may be avoided with the OSMF framework & REOPS.

It would be great if it would work without a expensive dedicated Mediaserver, Lighttpd would be nice .
But i think it would need to stream using rtmp to avoid that the ram runs full.
