New Market Volunteer Fire Company Event Hall

76 W. Main Street, New Market, Maryland

On November 18, 2011, the Postal Service closed the Frederick Mail Sorting Facility on Tilco Dr. Since this date all mail in the 217 zip codes is being shipped by truck 50+ miles to Baltimore to be sorted & shipped 50+ miles back. The Volume of Mail is beyond the capacity of the Baltimore facility to handle.

This has resulted in Severe Delay of Mail:

Business Sale Advertisements arriving long after the sale was over.

Credit Card / Bill Payments arriving late with customers forced to Pay Late Fees.

Medications delivered weeks late.

Black Friday Sale Ads delivered after Christmas.

Christmas Cards arriving in February.

To restore timely mail delivery to citizens in Frederick & Washington counties.

Please Bring Your Family & Friends to Organize for Solutions & Make Your Voice Heard.

Re Open the Frederick Mail Sorting Facility, so next day mail delivery service can be restored.
