On a rooted device, you can use BootUnlocker to re-lock the bootloader without using fastboot. You can also use it to unlock the bootloader again without wiping data. I use it to keep my bootloader locked most of the time, but unlock it prior to installing a system update or doing anything else that might require re-rooting via fastboot flash.

I have Unlocked Rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 recently it has been giving me a lot of issues and I want to send it to Samsung for repair meant. I understand that once you root your device you loose the warranty, but recently I was doing research and I found out if you re lock your bootloader and unroot your device you can get your warranty back, so can some one tell me how to do it ? and if you can tell me if there is a way to find out even if your bootloader is locked or unlocked ?

Is it possible to install LineageOS and after unroot and relock bootloader? I'm thinking to do this 'cuz this might be the easier way to make banking apps work normally again. I don't really care about the other things, just want to use it cuz OxygenOS has dropped it's standards too low copying ColorOS

Even after flashing the phone with factory firmware and re-locking the bootloader, the crazy Bootloader Unlocked warning at startup might still stay. In order to get rid of it, you need to flash the modified logo.bin file.

So a couple of months ago I got a new phone and decided to play around a bit more with my old Huawei p10 lite (WAS-LX1) before passing it on. So I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP, rooted it (Magisk), installed some root apps etc. My phone is currently running Nougat on EMUI 5.1.1. and I thought that unlocking the bootloader would prevent it from recieving any more official updates. But this morning I woke up to a notification that said my update to Oreo and EMUI 8 was ready to install. Now I know that official updates unroot the phone, and I can live with that, but I really don't want to go through the process of installing the recovery again, and especially not through unlocking the bootloader again because the last thing I want is another factory reset. Does anyone have any idea whether this happens on Huawei? Googling it gets me mixed results and I don't want to proceed with the update if it's going to relock the bootloader. Thanks in advance!

In this guide, we'll take a look at the three main ways to get back to stock Android. Whether that means going fully unrooted with a locked bootloader or just reverting to the stock ROM but keeping root access, you'll find an option that works for you.

If you downloaded a pre-rooted stock ROM and want to keep it that way, you're now good to go. If you used a non-rooted ROM and want to get back fully to stock, all you need to do now is re-lock the bootloader. Remember that this will wipe your phone.

I've made some sort of mistake. I now have, what seems to be a bricked phone.
Phone was working fine but need to send it in. Want to unroot. FolIowed procedures via fastboot and had good success less the unlocked message.
I got careless but can't remember exactly what I did to get me to the state I'm in.
I can boot to bootloader (but nothing else) but all commands fail. If I perform 'fastboot devices', I get - ZY2235NZNF.
Beyond that, I get failures. first command - "fastboot oem lock begin"
(bootloader) Not supported command in current status!
FAILED (remote failure)
I was indeed able to boot to the phone and was only having the issue of the unlocked message. Now... I have the shame
I have no Android so I cant get USB debugging... SO frustrated.
Thank you.

My goal here is to get my phone unrooted and back to stock rom.
Or, is it dead?

Thank you for reading my post and thank you in advance for any direction you can offer.

The factory image you have is for marshmallow 6.0 if you have updated it at all you will need to grab that image. From the website you listed I looked over the images there and there is a MM 6.01 image. You may as well go with the latest. Next thing I would suggest is looking at the House Of Moto 4.3 By SamuriHL. That utility works wonders and uses fastboot to do the flashing. read and follow the instructions exactly. I have the 2013 Developer edition of the moto X and once I unlocked the bootloader I never relocked it and never plan to.

With the latest firmware you should be able to flash it with out unlocking but keep your code handy just in case. I believe you will also need to have the newest motorola fastboot files you should be able to get those from the site you were on. Nope that site gives the 404 error. Try looking through this site for the files: -dev...t moto x play.
