A love story and murder mystery based on the most notorious unsolved
murder case in New York history. The original screenplay uses newly
discovered facts, court records and speculation as the foundation for
a story of family, obsession, love and loss.

This is a true story about David Marks (part of the marks family who
are huge industrialists in ny and the disappearance of his wife katie.
she is played by dunst who i think does an incredible job in this. it
was well done. takes place 1971-2003 to a brief update at the end to
bring you up to speed. i like it when they do that.

I saw this one not too long ago. Enjoyed it. I am often quite
annoyed by Dunst, but was fine with her this time around, which for me
is saying something. And of course, I always think Ryan Gosling is
terrific. I think he improved the movie, injecting the main character
with as much substance as he could, considering (if I remember right)
there wasn't quite as much in the way of development as there could
have been. Solid film, though.
