We went by the coffee area beginning of 3rd service and the stickers were not placed out.
So, I placed them out.
The cover for the base of the stand was taken apart from the stand.
They were sitting on the storage cubby.
The roll of stickers was not on the stand I bought for them.
The ring with little strips of paper that you tear off for Renovo@Google groups and further information was gone. How is anyone going to know where to get more information?
If we make a sign there's no guarantee that the sign would get placed either with or without the sticker roll.
Some may have thought that since there were no mugs, the rolls of stickers should not go out. Mary said there was no clear direction given on the stickers, and that there is a regular turnover on the 1st service coffee crew.
Mary Dixon, one of the crew substituting for 3rd service is usually on for first service. She said people would leave the mugs in the auditorium not knowing where to put them. She also mentioned that some people use two paper cups, the outer for insulating against burns.
If we could get 1 person from each service who would take and return mugs for each service then we might be able to have them ready for those who do use them. We did get rid of mugs over the two months we tried this. The one wild card is what to do when people don't take theirs home. We can set out a tub for gathering used mugs. At least users might see where it goes and they would not end up scattered around the facility.
"Do not despise the day of small beginnings." (Zechariah 4:10 NLT)
Abraham said for 10 people will you destroy the city? And the Lord said, no not for 10. (Genesis 10) This is an example of how God admits that a lesser amount than you'd think is enough to keep something going.
