I've owned a mobile pre interface for a few years now, and it's worked fine, until I go to set it up on a new computer. Whenever the ASIO driver for it ( which I downloaded from Avid's website) is selected as my audio device, any audio whatsoever coming from Reaper is replaced entirely by crackling and popping noises. I know it's not my CPU because I've checked, and I've looked everywhere for a more official or updated driver, but I think I have it. If anyone has any similar problems and/or solutions, that would be very helpful, thanks!

I have corrected the problem with the audio interface driver. I had uninstalled wavelab elements 11 then reinstalled it and selected to uninstall the generic low latency driver in the installation. That solved it, now Cubase 11 Pro now sees the correct Roland driver in the audio setup and no more missing ports. It seems like Wavelab was messing up the driver registry in windows 10 when it installed.
I was having the same problem. I perchance found the solution. In windows, if you go via the start button to the programs, under Steinberg there is drop down for ASIO low latency driver. If you click it it opens up an option that allows you to click the Spider driver. And it works well thereafter. Bit silly way to do it. but there it is. It happens every time the driver changes or you download something. Cheers!
My search for another product will be based on the mibile with my O. I cant really be a judge on using instruments on it but im still giving it a The real value here is in the bundle software Ableton Live Lite 4 is good stuff and will make you want more! The drivers on the website for Windows 7 caused many of the audio jacks on my new LGA motherboard to stop working.
ASIO and CoreAudio drivers are preferablebecause they provide better performance and lower latency. You canalso monitor audio as you record it and instantly hear volume, pan,and effects changes during playback.
I recently purchased this device for my small home studio and am very happy with it. For the price, it's an excellent interface.
Only issue I have is that it's not recognizing Mac volume controls. I am quite used to constantly adjusting the level of my audio playback through my keyboard, and it's annoying to now having to do that through the monitor knob. Please release a driver update that allows for volume changes on Mac.
